At fifty five I consider myself eligible enough to talk about the lessons I learned from life. Some I learned the hard way, some learned by observation. Well, here they are: 1 . Respect yourself. If you don't, no one is going to respect you. If you don't get respect, take responsibility for that. Because, the only person you can change is yourself. It's your responsibility to keep away from disrespectful situations or relationships. 2. Relationships are mutual affairs. Relationships are mutual and it is not just your responsibility to maintain them, they just don't work one way. Do your bit sincerely, but do set limits. 3. You are not perfect You might think yourself as a lovable person, but that is just your perspective. Perspectives differ and there may be people who simply can't stand you. Accept it.
