Still Alice Directed by Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland Based on the novel by Lisa Genova How long can you be yourself? How painful would it be to lose oneself and constantly search for the lost self? 'Still Alice' is all about Alice, an eminent linguistics professor at Columbia and her painful journey through the progression of Alzheimer's, how a smart multitasker gradually turns into someone who can't dress herself, how her perfect world gradually collapses and how her loving family copes. Julianne Moore as Alice who struggled to put pieces of her shattered self in place made me weep. I had to stop in between to wipe off tears. Watching 'Still Alice ' was such a moving experience.
